Deborah Blum is director of the Knight Science Journalism Program at MIT and publisher of the digital science magazine, Undark. A Pulitzer-prize winning writer, she has authored five popular science books including The Poisoner’s Handbook, which was a New York Times best seller and the subject of an American Experience documentary on PBS. She has also written for a wide range of publications including The New York Times, The Washington Post, Time, Discover, Wired, The Wall Street Journal and Scientific American.
